<td><p>moon patrol has its origins in carrie's bathtub. it was here that she first heard the mysterious voices which would give her seven prophecies. the first, that doogie howser would be cancelled after one season, proved tragically false. the rest however have been eerily accurate: dennis miller did sell out; mcdonald's has started selling lobster; one of the dukes of hazzard is an award-winning broadway star; jesse helms refuses to die and there are "erection pills". however it is the frightening seventh prophecy that set her to task on the creation of moon patrol and started her off on the road to hemi-demi-semi-stardom. no one knows exactly what words were contained in this horrible premonition, but she insists on rehearsing dressed as a nun and keeps a vial of holy water on a chain around her neck. when asked about it she mutters something about bill gates coming to a show and needing to be ready. </p></td>
